In the push for the coveted millennial dollar, Things Remembered was in the early stages of refreshing its wedding brand when I arrived. The merchandising direction was set: diversify the assortment from the safe, traditional silver and crystal and move toward the modern, rustic and trend-right. The copy and content strategy needed to be reconsidered. I paired the product with fresher, practical content and revamped the voice from the existing precious one to that of a conversational, witty and fun wedding planner. 

The result two campaigns: Create Your Happily Ever After and Love Is Personal. A tonal facelift gave the copy a more insider feel, acknowledging our brides-to-be were likely well-versed in the wedding universe from years of being a bridesmaid. Each campaign was complemented with an omnichannel marketing rollout, including a new 22-month automated wedding email series timed to the bride’s engagement date through her first anniversary.
